The Mountains Above
He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.” Matthew 17:20
We all have mountains to climb and mountains to move. We have huge problems and struggles we must face everyday. Climbing over these struggles requires faith in God. When we put our faith and entire life in God’s hands, He will amaze us at what He will do through us. So build a strong faith. Encourage your faith through praise, worship, study and prayer. Trust in God, for that is what faith is. He stands ready to help you, if you have faith. Walk with faith. God bless
Father God, I wish to have the faith that will move mountains. Please help me to walk in Your ways so that I may grow strong in my faith. Protect me and guide me for only You, the one true God can do so.
Mountain ecosystems are found throughout the world, from the equator almost to the poles, occupying approximately one-fifth of its land surface. Beyond their common characteristics of having high relative relief (or very marked topographic variation) and steep slopes, mountains are remarkably diverse (Ives. Messerli and Spiess, 1997). They are found on every continent, and at every altitude, from close to sea level to the highest place on the earth – the summit of Mount Everest (Sagarmatha or Qomolangma) on the border between Nepal and the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
The mountains are rustic and majestic like our Lord and they fill me with awe every time I have the opportunity to see them. Their beauty and ability to support life is a true testament to our Lord God.

About the mountain landscape
The above photo shows that almost no vegetation cannot be seen after the snow cover. That in the mountains, at the foot of the mountain you can see crops or Mediterranean forest with species such as the holm oak and cork oak. And those Woods and forests of deciduous species such as oak, beech, chestnut, walnut, etc. Above those forests on some occasions there are coniferous spruce and pine forests. Landa, scrub vegetation, develops from the 2,100 feet and meadows are found above 3,400 feet.
About the inhabitants of the mountain climate zones.
On the mountain relief is abrupt hindering communication and the climate is very hard. Therefore the areas are poorly populated.
The traditional economic activity is cattle raising and logging but many mountain areas have become zones of leisure and tourism.

And a ruler asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone. You know the commandments: ‘Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.’” And he said, “All these I have kept from my youth.” When Jesus heard this, he said to him, “One thing you still lack. Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” Luke 18:18-22
